Privacy Policy
The Button Lives is a small social game. This page explains, in plain English, what we store and why.
What data we store
- A guest identity, so the Button remembers you between visits.
- Your account details if you sign in (email, display name, avatar URL).
- Game state: claims, affinity, trust, longest hold, preferences.
- Anonymous error reports so we can fix things that break.
Why we use cookies
We only use essential cookies today. They keep you signed in, save your progress, and let the game work. Without them, the Button forgets you the moment you reload.
We do not run third-party advertising or marketing cookies. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we'll ask you first.
How to request deletion
You can wipe your local progress at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this site.
To delete your account and any server-side data, email us at the address below from the account you'd like removed. We'll confirm and remove your data within 30 days.
